Fiat revives Tipo model

Fiat Company decided to revive Tipo. Start of hatchback sales is planned for 2016. To date, engineers hold test drives. Main competitors of future model are Ford Focus, Vauxhall Astra and Seat Leon. 

Detailed information on car is kept in secret. According tentative data model will be available with two types of gasoline engines. Car capacity equals 94 and 118 hp. Moreover hatchback motor gamma includes 2 diesel engines Multijet II. 

Fiat under Tipo name is going to sell sedan Aegea. For the first time this model was demonstrated at Motor Show in Istanbul in 2015. Probably, novelty will adapt motor gamma of hatchback. 

Length of sedan is 4,5 m. Luggage space – 510 l. Vehicle will be equipped by informative-entertainment system Uconnect with 5-inch sensor display, Bluetooth, GPS system TomTom and  rear back-up camera.

Tipo model was introduced into the market in 1988, while in 1995 was took out of production.
