The Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent was attended by participants of the third summit of rectors of Uzbekistan and Japan universities. Representatives one of the most prestigious universities in Japan - Nagoya University and Tokai University, met with Uktam Salomov, The Turin Polytechnic University’s rector. During the meeting they discussed further cooperation in the field of education and research.
In particular, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding regarding the organization of joint conferences, symposia and seminars, the creation of student exchange programs and joint research laboratories.
Also, during the visit, a scientific seminar was held at the university with the participation of physicists and physicians working in higher educational institutions and scientific centers of our country. The seminar provided an opportunity for Japanese and Uzbek scientists to share their experiences and ideas. Shigeru Yamaguchi, General Director of the Department of International Relations at the University of Tokai at the Faculty of Physics, delivered a report at the seminar.
