Automotive Components Production Launched in Chirc...
On the eve of the 34th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a modern automotive components production was launched in the Chirchik city, based on the newly established enterprise IOTA JH Co.
The project has been implemented within the framework of a strategic partnership between JSC Uzavtosanoat and the South Korean company IOTA Co Ltd. In April 2024, an agreement was reached on the localization of automotive air conditioning system tubes and hoses production. To advance these agreements, IOTA Co Ltd invested USD 6.1 million in the creation of the new enterprise.
The new production facility is equipped with high-tech production lines and testing equipment of South Korean manufacture. The enterprise’s daily production capacity reaches up to 2,400 units of tubes and hoses for automotive air conditioning systems, with an annual output estimated at 110 billion UZS. The implementation of this project will fully cover the demand of JSC UzAuto Motors for automotive air conditioning system components, creating conditions for reducing imports, optimizing logistics costs, and increasing the level of localization in the country’s automotive industry.
A total of 120 new jobs have been created at the enterprise, which will serve as an important factor in the socio-economic development of Chirchik city.
It should be noted that the launch of this production contributes to expanding engineering competencies and strengthening the industrial potential of the Republic. In the near future, the enterprise plans to master the production of similar products for BYD and KIA brand vehicles.
JSC Uzavtosanoat will continue its systematic efforts to deepen industrial cooperation, attract direct investments, and develop modern high-tech production in the country’s automotive industry.
