A meeting with a delegation of Sila Holding Industriale SpA, a leading global manufacturer of gear shift systems and flexible remote control cables for automobiles, was held at the Localization Support Center of JSC “Uzavtosanoat.”
The visit of the Italian delegation followed the agreements reached during the business forum in Turin, organized by JSC “Uzavtosanoat” in May of this year. The Italian side views Uzbekistan as a promising platform for establishing high-tech production and expanding cooperation with local enterprises.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the prospects of organizing the production of gear shift selectors, including the involvement of Uzbek component manufacturers. The implementation of this project will contribute to the creation of new jobs, the enhancement of technological competencies of local enterprises, and the further development of regional industry.
JSC “Uzavtosanoat” and Sila Holding Industriale SpA confirmed their readiness to continue joint work on the project and ensure its implementation within the established timeframe.
It should be noted that Sila Holding Industriale SpA, founded in 1943, operates modern production facilities in Italy, Poland, India, China, and Brazil, supplying its products to manufacturing plants of leading global automotive companies.
