General information about the company
The Samarkand Automobile Factory (former JV “SamKochauto”, now JV "SamAuto" LLC) – is the enterprise, producing commercial equipment: buses, trucks and specialized vehicles. Production complex of the factory is located in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. The factory was opened on March 16, 1999.
Founders
Currently, founders of Samarkand Automobile factory are JSC “Uzavtosanoat " (Uzbekistan) - 58%, Asaka Bank (Uzbekistan) - 26%, Itochu Corporation (Japan) - 8%, ISUZU Motors Ltd. (Japan) - 8%. Cooperation with Japanese companies was started in 2007.
The total area of the factory is 155,625 m2, including production area - 37 305 m2
