The problem of corruption in recent years has been considered at the international level as a transnational crime and is a widely discussed topic in international organizations.

In our republic, large-scale reforms aimed at preventing corruption, combating it and eliminating corruption factors are consistently implemented in all areas of state and public construction, including industry.

In particular, in 2017, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Combating Corruption" was adopted, as well as Decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-5729 dated May 27, 2019 and No. PF-6013 dated June 29, 2020, Resolution No. PK-5177 dated July 6, 2021 and a number of other regulatory legal acts that created the legal basis for this area.

In addition, in accordance with the General Cooperation Agreement signed on October 19, 2017 between Uzavtosanoat JSC and General Motors International, in 2018, for the first time in Uzbekistan, an internal control system compliance based on advanced international standards for combating corruption was introduced in Uzavtosanoat JSC and its enterprises.

The main objective of this system is to identify the causes and conditions for the emergence of corruption in the industry, develop an effective system for eliminating them, as well as conduct explanatory and preventive work among all employees of the Company.

At the same time, the Company and its subsidiaries adopted more than 15 internal regulatory documents and regulations aimed at combating corruption, including the Anti-Corruption Policy, the Code of Ethics, the Conflict of Interest Management Policy, and others.

In order to prevent conflicts of interest in the automotive industry, eliminate corruption factors, strengthen preventive measures to combat corruption and continuously improve knowledge in these areas, the requirements of the international standard ISO 37001:2016 are gradually being introduced into practice.

Realizing the responsibility imposed on JSC "Uzavtosanoat" to the numerous staff of the industry, the people of Uzbekistan and our partners, every effort is made to prevent any manifestations of corruption.

JSC "Uzavtosanoat", for its part, guarantees the conscientious fulfillment of its obligations taking into account anti-corruption requirements and ethical standards, as well as strict compliance with the law.

The call of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan: "Intolerance to any manifestations of corruption should become part of our daily life. In the fight against this evil, it is necessary to mobilize all government agencies, political parties, public organizations, the media and every citizen" has become our life motto.

In this regard, we all, every manager and employee of the enterprises of the Company's system, must be aware of our responsibility for preventing and eradicating corruption cases.

Taking this opportunity, we once again call on our colleagues and partners to adhere to the standards of honesty, openness and transparency in their work, to follow the principles of anti-corruption policy, and in case of doubts or detection of possible violations, to inform us about it.
