On June 17, during the report-election conference of Uzbekistan Gymnastics Federation (UGF) at the National Olympic Committee in Tashkent, Ulugbek Rozukulov, Chairman of the Board of Uzavtosanoat, was elected as the head of the Federation.
The appointment of a candidate for this position was based on the results of voting, during which the Conference participants unanimously approved Ulugbek Rozukulov for this responsible position.
During the conference Ulugbek Rozukulov noted the importance of sport in the life and development of the younger generation, emphasized the achievement of a high level of authority of the UGF in the Olympic movement. Federation currently ranks 9th among 162 national gymnastics federations of the world representing four disciplines - artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, trampoline and sports acrobatics.
"Today the gymnastics of Uzbekistan, due to the successes of our athletes at major international tournaments, has achieved considerable prestige in the world arena. In December 2022 the President of the country made a revolutionary decision, opening a new page in the history of Uzbekistan's gymnastics. The Federation of Gymnastics has set grand tasks and I am confident that together with the gymnasts, coaches, doctors and the entire team of UGF we will be able to achieve all goals in the preservation and multiplication of the sports potential of our team." - noted Ulugbek Rozukulov.
"Uzavtosanoat" for many years has been providing significant support to national gymnastics. The management of the company intends to continue this tradition and create all conditions for athletes to achieve high results.
