UzAuto Motors JSC published the ESG report with the results of the company's work in the field of corporate governance, environmental protection and social responsibility. This was another important step in the company's commitment to transparency and responsibility to partners, customers, shareholders and the community as a whole.

The report covers a wide range of topics, including the sustainable development strategy, approaches to environmental responsibility, social and economic impact of the company's activities, corporate culture, and future plans for sustainable development. Our environmental strategy includes commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, responsible resource consumption and waste management, as well as partnerships on climate change.
The undertaken efforts have allowed in 2022 to reduce energy consumption of production and emission of harmful substances into the atmosphere by almost 60% compared to 2021. In addition, UzAuto Motors operates a system aimed at reducing waste, recycling, and minimizing its impact on the environment. The system uses General Motors' sustainable design and manufacturing practices, which include the use of recyclable, compostable, or biodegradable materials and the implementation of manufacturing processes that ultimately result in less waste.
Understanding the importance of preserving the environment for future generations, the employees of UzAuto Motors participated in the creation of a green area consisting of 100 thousand trees with an area of more than 100 hectares in the desert area of Jizzakh region. The artificial forest park located on the shore of the picturesque lakes of the Aydar-Arnasay system will be a park zone, which will have a favorable effect on the ecosystem of the region.
Thanks to effective management, the company has become one of the country's top taxpayers, with payments to the budget and extra-budgetary funds reaching more than 5% of Uzbekistan's annual budget. In addition, the company actively supports social projects, including sponsorship of the Uzbekistan Gymnastics Federation, the Andijan soccer club and the International Film Festival, construction of the IT Academy, the "House of Writers" and social housing, restoration of historical sites, improvement and repair of social facilities and many other projects of social importance.
Much has been done, but more is yet to come. UzAuto Motors has already made great strides toward sustainable development, including the introduction of new technologies and processes that help reduce the environmental footprint, increase social responsibility, and improve operational efficiency.
