In March of the current year, Uzavtosanoat JSC and Volkswagen Group Rus Concern signed an Agreement on cooperation in organizing the production of light commercial vehicles on the basis of the Jizzakh Automobile Plant LLC. Currently, the Jizzakh Auto plant is at the final stage of construction. The premises of the main part of the plant and office are completed and ready for operation.
In order to speed up the production of light commercial vehicles, a Volkswagen Caddy batch of cars was delivered to Uzbekistan, which was handed over to authorized certification bodies in order to undergo special procedures for climate testing and homologation. Currently, Uzstandard Agency is carrying out certification and type approval of vehicles for compliance with the requirements of current regulatory documents, including carrying out control climatic and other tests by the certification body in accordance with the requirements of the General Technical Regulation.
At the same time, a number of dealer enterprises in the regions of the republic have been identified that will cooperate with Jizzakh-Auto LLC in the development of the Volkswagen dealer network. It should be emphasized that in July of this year Volkswagen Caddy cars will already be available for sale at official Volkswagen dealerships in Uzbekistan.
“Each project of the dealership was approved individually and in accordance with the corporate concept, which is focused on the convenience of Volkswagen customers moving around the car dealership. At th e present time, work is underway on the construction of new dealerships in accordance with Volkswagen standards, all of which will be equipped with modern branded equipment to provide quality after-sales service to customers. ” - noted Oybek Ayubov, the General Director of Jizzakh-Auto LLC.
In addition, in order to train highly qualified specialists, a special training program was developed for the employees of Jizzakh-Auto and dealer companies in accordance with the global standards of the Volkswagen brand. The first trainings with the participation of specialists in the promotion of products and car maintenance were held in early May 2020.
