These days, the media disseminated information about the relationship between the South Korean joint venture Uz-Dong Yang Co, one of the founders of which is Uzavtosanoat, and Uz-Metertech Co. Having studied all the materials, Uzavtosanoat JSC officially declares that the company continues close cooperation with the Korean side of Uz-Dong Yang Co JV. Moreover, it is planned to expand activities in the framework of joint projects in our country, in which the Uz-Dong Yang Co joint venture has been successfully operating since 1996.
As you know, one of the main tasks of “Uzavtosanoat” JSC is the uninterrupted supply of high-quality products to consumers, assistance to local automotive manufacturers and cost optimization by localizing production. As part of their implementation, “UzAuto Motors” JSC purchased equipment, which later became the main subject of dispute between the two companies. In order to solve production problems of timely supplying UzAuto Motors JSC factories with parts, the equipment, remaining their property, was transferred to Uz-Dong Yang Co JV for free use.
As for the issues noted in the media and all the details - disputes of the parties are considered in court in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In turn, Uzavtosanoat JSC is confident in the fair resolution of all issues within the framework of the law and declares that the issues arising between Uz-Metertech Co JV and Uz-Dong Yang Co JV will not affect the mutually beneficial cooperation of these enterprises with "UzAutoMotors" JSC. The company will continue to make every effort to create favorable conditions for foreign investors, making a worthy contribution to the development of the domestic automotive industry.
