Today, Uzavtosanoat JSC faces important tasks to increase the efficiency of the company's activity, to produce reliable products and services in the automotive industry, to increase profitability, as well as to improve human resources in the sphere of production.
Today JSC "Uzavtosanoat" is one of the largest companies in Uzbekistan, which structure includes about 60 enterprises, in the activities of which more than 30 thousand people are employed.
Main indicators
During the first half of the year, 3,000 additional jobs were created in the structure of Uzavtosanoat due to realization of new projects. Increase in production volumes allowed reducing the debt on passenger cars 2 times, as well as increasing the volume of tax deductions to the budget up to 3.4 trillion soums.
Realizing the importance of increasing export volumes, which brings foreign currency earnings to the country, structural enterprises of Uzavtosanoat exported high value-added products worth $307.3 million, which is 40% more than in the same period last year. As a result of the implementation of the import reduction program for the first half of 2023, it was possible to reduce imports by $71.7 million.
Production activity
In the first half of 2023, the enterprises of the industry produced 25.2 trillion UZS, which is 13% more than in the same period of 2023. During this period, 160,000 passenger cars, 1,200 buses and trucks, 1,300 agricultural machinery and 105,000 engines rolled off the assembly lines.
Records
As a result of the work of the entire Uzavtosanoat team, the first half of 2023 was a period of setting new records:
39,040 vehicles per month were produced at UzAuto Motors' plants in Asaka and Pitnak. 29,900 vehicles per month and 1,700 vehicles per day were produced at UzAuto Motors' Asaka plant. 11,250 vehicles per month and 450 vehicles per day were produced at the UzAuto Motors plant in Pitnak.
Cooperation with BYD
In May this year, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev gave a start to the construction of BYD Uzbekistan Factory, which became the first joint venture of the Chinese world leader of electric cars outside China, which became possible due to the production achievements of the Uzbek automobile industry and economic attractiveness of Uzbekistan.
BYD Uzbekistan Factory" production facilities on the basis of "Jizzakh Auto" plant will be equipped for annual production of more than 50 thousand NEV cars of BYD "Chazor" and "Song Plus" models at the first stage, as well as further creation of a base for full-cycle car production (CKD: stamping, welding, painting, assembly). This, in its turn, will create more than 2 thousand new jobs at the enterprise.
The line of machining of heads and cylinder blocks of new generation engines CSS Prime at the plant "UzAuto Motors Powertrain"
In July at the structural enterprise of "UzAuto Motors Powertrain" plant of "UzAuto Motors Powertrain" JSC the new line of machining of heads and cylinder blocks of new generation CSS Prime engines, used in the production of Chevrolet Tracker and Onix cars, was launched.
The result of the launch of the machining line was an increase in the level of localization of CSS Prime engines, as well as an increase in quality due to the supply of components directly to the assembly line. In the future, it is planned to further increase engine localization by launching a high-pressure casting shop for the block and cylinder head. Recall that after the launch of the production line of new CSS Prime engines in December last year, the production nominal capacity of the plant increased to 415 thousand internal combustion engines per year.
