Social and financial risks in the dealership syste...
The dealership system regulates the financial relationships between the manufacturer and the consumer, and these relationships must be based on the rule of law, transparency, and accountability. The effective functioning of such a system plays a crucial role in the fight against corruption, as combating corruption serves to ensure the fair and transparent development of society.
In this regard, the crimes committed by the head of "Do‘stlik Avtotexxizmat" LLC in Namangan city are a serious issue directly related to the fight against corruption.
Through this case, the abuse of office powers by officials and crimes such as embezzlement of financial resources have been uncovered once again. These events highlight the importance of ensuring the rule of law in society and the necessity of fighting corruption.
It is worth noting that the sentence issued on November 25, 2022, by the Mingbuloq district court in a criminal case demonstrated not only the adherence to criminal and penal policies but also the principles of justice.
According to the information examined during the court proceedings, the head of "Do‘stlik Avtotexxizmat" LLC, using his authority, committed financial violations. In 2020, as part of the "UzAuto Motors" JSC share program, he sold cars to citizens and misused a large portion of the payments for personal interests. He falsified documents to sell mortgaged cars, releasing their legal documents from the ban. Moreover, he misused a loan of 14.6 billion UZS from the bank, spending it on personal needs instead of its intended purpose. As a result, over 16 billion UZS in financial damage was caused.
The court imposed a fine on the company head equal to 105 times the base calculation amount, based on Articles 167, part 3, clause "a," and 228, part 2, clause "a" of the Criminal Code. Additionally, the funds paid for damage recovery were directed to the relevant organizations.
During the court hearing, which was conducted transparently and openly to the public, the defendant expressed regret for his actions and acknowledged his guilt, emphasizing that the damage would be fully compensated. However, this did not exempt him from responsibility for his actions.
This case demonstrates that in the fight against corruption, it is crucial not only to ensure the inevitability of punishment but also to continue reforms aimed at preventing legal violations. Therefore, every citizen and official must be responsible before the law and adhere to the principles of transparency and justice.
From the above, it can be concluded that the fight against corruption requires collective action from all layers of society.
Such cases are important for ensuring the victory of justice and for preventing future violations of the law.
