Chevrolet cars, produced at the UzAuto Motors plant in Uzbekistan, have officially gone on sale in Georgia. A new dealership has been opened in Tbilisi, according to the company's Telegram channel. The first batch of Chevrolet vehicles was shipped from the Asaka plant to Georgia on August 25.
The official dealer of UzAuto Motors in Georgia is Strada Motors LLC. The company will handle the sales and servicing of Chevrolet vehicles.
It is known that the sedan Cobalt and the crossover Tracker have been shipped to Georgia. As of today, the UzAuto Motors plant in Uzbekistan produces nine passenger car models and two LCV segment models.
As previously reported by the AVTOSTAT agency, production of the Chevrolet Lacetti/Gentra ended in July 2024. The model had been assembled at the Uzbekistan plant for 15 consecutive years.
