Zokhid Kamalov was born in 1980 in the Namangan region. In 2007, he graduated from Namangan Engineering and Pedagogical Institute with a degree in Economics.
Prior to his appointment, he served as Director of AUTO PLANET LLC.
Mr. Kamalov began his professional career as a private entrepreneur. Over the years, he held a number of senior management positions, including Chairman of the Management Board of Namangan-Avtotexxizmat LLC, General Director of O‘zavtosanoatservis LLC, General Director of Avtosanoat Invest LLC, as well as Deputy Director and Director of AUTO PLANET LLC. He also served as Acting Deputy Chairman and Adviser to the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
