A holiday event was organized by the Trade Union Committee of UzAuto Motors for the participants of the Afghanistan war and workers who were equated with them.
During the event, employees who had worked for many years at UzAuto Motors and are still active were recognized and honored by the company’s management and the trade union committee.
The event was opened with a speech by the company’s production director, who spoke about the thousands of people who participated in the Afghanistan war and their bravery. He emphasized that the participants who served for the peace of the homeland will always be recognized.
The Chairman of the Trade Union Committee, Oktam Mirzayev, acknowledged: “First and foremost, we see individuals with deep knowledge, intellectual potential, strong will, and preparation who are dedicated to their duty and loyal to the homeland. We are rightfully proud of them.”
Veteran employee and Hero of Uzbekistan, Hasanboy Hotamovich Qosimov, who participated in the event, also congratulated the attendees.
During the event, Afghanistan war participant Abdurashid Botirov shared his memories and experiences from the war, leaving a deep impression on the audience. The sacrifices made by many families during the war, and the loss of brave soldiers in the battles, were also remembered. Reflections on the value of peace and the irreversible consequences of war were discussed.
At the end of the event, valuable commemorative gifts from the trade union committee were presented to the Afghanistan war participants and workers who were equated with them.
