SAMAUTO STARTED PRODUCTION OF FIRST ISUZU D-MAX PICK-UP PICKERS IN UZBEKISTAN

“Since 2002, the Isuzu D-Max pickup truck has been manufactured worldwide by the Japanese company Isuzu Motors. Over the years, cars have traveled millions of kilometers in a variety of climatic conditions and received a number of improvements. For production in Uzbekistan, the second generation of the Isuzu D-Max modifications of 2017 was chosen. Pickups run on diesel, which is environmentally friendly and economical in consumption. The chassis of this model is equipped with reliable ISUZU units that have shown excellent performance. ISUZU D-Max is one of the best in its class in handling thanks to the coordinated work of the steering and wheel suspension. It is distinguished by confident management and maintaining balance even in difficult road conditions,” said Husen Kobilov, Deputy General Director of the Samarkand Automobile Plant.

For Uzbekistanees, Isuzu D-Max will be available in three versions:

- D-MAX SAHAR with a single-row cab, 2 passenger seats, an engine capacity of 2.5 liters and a manual gearbox;

- D-MAX OKSUS with a two-row cabin, 4 passenger seats, an engine capacity of 2.5 liters and a manual gearbox

- D-MAX IRBIS with a two-row cabin, 4 passenger seats, an engine capacity of 3 liters and an automatic transmission.

The pick-up capacity is 865–1100 kg.

Traditionally, in ISUZU vehicles, special attention is paid to the safety of the driver and passengers. The Isuzu D-Max, in accordance with Japanese standards, received a high-strength steel cabin, an energy-absorbing front part, side shock-resistant trims and airbags with pre-tensioned belts.

The colors of the pickup are represented by white, silver metallic, gray metallic, obsidian gray, black, blue and red. The interior of the car combines black trim elements, chrome details and pleasant to the touch materials. Wide PEOr arches provide easy access to the cabin, and inside there is enough space for comfortable accommodation of passengers.

Sales of the ISUZU D-Max pickup truck will start in January 2020, and pre-order is currently open. The price will vary from 270 to 380 million soums.
