In accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to diversify domestic tourism services," around 50 students from the "New Uzbekistan" University visited BYD Uzbekistan Factory LLC on February 25 as part of an organized trip to the Jizzakh region.
At the beginning of the visit, the plant's management provided the students with a detailed overview of the company's master plan, its technological capabilities, including production processes and capacities, key areas of activity, as well as future development plans.
During the tour of the plant, students had the opportunity to observe firsthand the processes of high-quality and durable material joining using automated systems and high-precision equipment installed in the welding, painting, and assembly workshops. Additionally, they explored in detail all stages of electric and hybrid vehicle production—from the initial operations to the final assembly of fully completed automobiles. Students were particularly fascinated by the cutting-edge high-precision technologies, the automation of production processes, and the robotic systems used in car manufacturing.
— I am an engineering student, and I am very pleased that my first professional excursion took place at this plant. The technologies used in the production of electric and hybrid vehicles have made a huge impression on me. Seeing the manufacturing processes here has greatly increased my motivation to study, and now I have set a goal for myself — to become a highly qualified specialist and work at this enterprise in the future, — noted Behruz Dustmurodov, a student of the "New Uzbekistan" University.
It is worth mentioning that the students' arrival in traditional national costumes added a unique cultural atmosphere to the plant.
— Our visit to the BYD Uzbekistan Factory exceeded our expectations and was conducted at a much higher level than we anticipated. I express my deep gratitude to the management of our university and Uzavtosanoat for this opportunity. What impressed me the most was the fact that production processes here are carried out with the help of robots. Recently, during a meeting between our head of state and talented youth, we received great support and trust, as well as all the necessary conditions and opportunities for development. Inspired by this, we decided to come here in traditional national costumes. Since I am studying cybersecurity, I was especially pleased to learn that there is an opportunity to complete an internship here during the summer holidays, — shared Sevinch Anvarova, a student of the "New Uzbekistan" University.
At the end of the plant tour, the students expressed their desire to undergo an internship at the BYD Uzbekistan Factory and to continue their professional careers at this enterprise in the future. Representatives of Uzavtosanoat JSC emphasized that this initiative would make a significant contribution to providing the plant with highly qualified specialists in the years to come. The university and plant representatives agreed to collaborate on organizing internships for students, enabling them to gain practical experience and develop professional skills.
Additionally, the students received answers to their questions about the production process from the plant's management. At the end of the visit, the guests took commemorative photographs at the final assembly line.
