On February 11, an event dedicated to the "International Day of Women in Science" was held by the Women's Advisory Council of the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent. The roundtable discussion was themed "A Female Scholar – A Reflection of Society."
During the meeting, female scholars from the university shared their achievements in the field of science, the challenges they faced, and motivational speeches on how to succeed. These scholars included Dr. Munira Sultonboyeva, Associate Professor of the "Management, Economics, and Humanities" department; Dr. Shirin To‘raxodjayeva, Associate Professor of the "Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering" department; Dr. Vasila Yarasheva, Professor at Tashkent State University of Economics; and Dr. Gulasal Madraximova, PhD and Associate Professor.
The discussion emphasized the growing importance of strengthening the role of women in science, social, and political life in our country in recent years. As a result, today women are occupying leading positions in all areas of society and making a significant contribution to the development of education, culture, and science.
